Titanic Town (1998) was directed by Roger Michell (Notting Hill) and starred Julie Walters as an ordinary mother and housewife crusading for peace amidst the bullets and tanks of 1970's Belfast. Funny and poignant Titanic Town played at a host of major festivals around the world. The film opened in the US in October 2000 distributed by The Shooting Gallery and was released in the U.K by Alliance Atlantis.
