Filming Begins on Wolf Hall
Filming commenced today on Company Pictures’s adaptation of Hilary Mantel’s Booker Prize-winning novels Wolf Hall and Bring Up The Bodies.
Starring Mark Rylance as Thomas Cromwell and Damien Lewis as Henry VIII, the six-part serial will follow the meteoric rise of Cromwell in the Tudor court, from his lowly start as the son of a blacksmith to becoming King Henry VIII’s closest advisor.
Directed by BAFTA-winner Peter Kosminsky and written by BAFTA-winning and Oscar nominated screenwriter, Peter Straughn; this flagship drama is scheduled to TX on BBC Two in 2015.
